Andrew Anderson is youngster who has found his way to Austin, from Idaho. His latest album, As Long As this Thing Is Flyin’ is a pretty solid collection of the pleasing country/punk/roots blend that has become quite the rage. When such a hybrid is pulled-off successfully, it really hits the mark, and Anderson accomplished that here, I think.
This track is a good example of what you get on the album. It’s pretty hard to resist a banjo that rocks as feindishly as the one does on this track.
