This Thursday night, there are two fantastic choices for country music entertainment in Dallas. Sadly it will be hard to experience both, but you’ll have a hard time going wrong, regardless of what you choose.
The Kinkster. The guy that almost became this great state’s governor, will be playing a rare full-band show at The Granada Theater. A Gobb Knob fave from Nashville, Ned Van Go will be opening up and will provide a great time. NVG has a stellar new album out (Heartbroken City) and will rock the joint rather heartily.
The other notable show Thursday night features several artists I have mentioned before as being artists that I care for. Joey + Rory team up with Tejas Brothers, Paul Easonand a host of others to put on a family style Opry (Big D Opry, to be specific) show at Gilley’s in Dallas.
