Adam Green (Myspace / Official) has been rather busy since the days of playing with Moldy Peaches. I figured there would be some sort of large-scale reunion or big payday to chase after when some of their older songs became hip with the success of the Juno Soundtrack, but no. Green continues to put out solid albums that are just as catchy as the older Moldy Peaches stuff.
Green’s 6th album, Minor Love (Fat Possum), is a collection of folk-rock ditties that showcases his wit and insight. Get a feel for that with “What Makes Him Act So Bad” below. I am sure this will sound great this weekend in Dallas as he opens for the Johnny Marr version of The Cribs when they hit The Granada Theater on the 22nd.
