Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers – “A (With Love)”
14 September 2009 in Music, Random, blah blah blah

From The Sixers, with love...
The Bear, which is the new album from Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers (Official / Myspace) came out last week. I wasn’t overly familiar with the band - save for a few blog posts that I have read here and there – before I heard this album a couple of weeks ago. After listening to the track below, “A (With Love)”, I was forced to dig deep and take notice. The entire record is solid, no question, but the alt-country groove that kicks-off the second track of the album is worth the price of admission alone. The guys are heading out on tour to support the new release and will be on the road well into the new year, so get out and hear this stuff live.

[...] I think if you like Adams’ Heartbreaker album, you’ll dig this band. Similar to the Stephen Kellogg track from earlier this week, I was hooked on this song from the opening strums. Listen to “Cave Country” [...]
[...] recently, I have been in a folky-country kinda mood. Recent songs that I have shared with you from Stephen Kellogg and Quiet Life have had just enough a certain pace and vibe that seems to hit me in just the right [...]
