Pete Bernhard (The Devil Makes Three) – “Warning”

The Devil Makes Three is perhaps at the top of the list when it comes to what I guess is the “Great String-Band Craze of 2009“. Do Wrong Right, their roots-y mountain music record that mixes in some Anthrax-style attitude, has put them at the top of many people’s list when it comes to releases of 2009.
Pete Bernhard, the lead singer, figured he would throw his solo-hat into that ring. His new album, Straight Line (Milan Records), mixes up the equation with more instrumentation and even a bit more whimsy. The second single, “Warning”features a bouncy beat with a playful piano arrangement. See for yourself…
