I have made no secret of my appreciation for the work of both Zac Brown Band, as well as Jamey Johnson. Between the two of them, we have great examples of country acts with serious mainstream success that aren’t playing by the tired, stale rules of Music City. ZBB has a new video out of my favorite song on their hit album, The Foundation, and new to radio this week is the debut single from Johnson’s upcoming disc. My boys at The 9513 have a glowing and encouraging review of the new single and even promise to have it up and streaming soon.
