Biting other Blogs: Nine Bullets (seems to always hit the target)
14 April 2009 in Biting Other Blogs, Blogroll, Local Music (D/FW), Music, Random, Texas Music, blah blah blah
Biting Other Blogs is an occasionally occurring feature that will direct your attention to a specific blog post or two that, most likely, I wish I had posted myself. Giving credit where credit is due, I typically wont blab too much, except to encourage you to get up on whatever blog I am highlighting…
As I have said many times, you guys need to make sure you visit the blogs on my blogroll on a very regular basis (actually, I am sure you do, but I’m reminding you, just in case). I think each blogger has a group of 3, 4 or 5 blogs that they use more as a resource for music discovery as much as anything else. One such blog for me is Nine Bullets.Net.
A recent post that has really made an impression on me covers new music from Pinebox Serenade and another one detailing the progress of Kenneth Brian. Both posts have a few great mp3’s from the albums being high-lighted as well. Pinebox Serenade is from Denton, TX and I love seeing bloggers from other parts of the country (9b is based in Florida) catch onto some of the greatness that North Texas has to offer. Note:If you are reading this on Monday night 4/13, it looks like 9b will be down for a bit on Tuesday, but be sure to keep checking back!

Thanks for the shout out!
My pleasure. I am going to send you a pic of the sticker you sent me soon. Its on a very treasured posession that every man should have (my buddy keg cooler)…
Sweet blog. I never know what I am going to come across next. I think you should do more posting as you have some pretty intelligent stuff to say.
I’ll be watching you .
I appreciate the kind words. Feel free to subscribe to the posts. i think you’ll see that my productivity is pretty decent, even though there are weeks on occasion, where i may have only a couple of posts…i’ve never been big on just reposting press-releases or covering many of the items that get a ton of blog ink, so there are times where its more difficult for me to churn posts out daily or more…but i sure try. thanks for reading!
