Biting Other Blogs: Bona Fide Darling Does D/FW
8 February 2009 in Biting Other Blogs, Blogroll, Local Music (D/FW), Music, Texas Music, blah blah blahBiting Other Blogs is an occasionally occurring feature that will direct your attention to a specific blog post or two that, most likely, I wish I had posted myself. Giving credit where credit is due, I typically wont blab too much, except to encourage you to get up on whatever blog I am highlighting…

100 Damned Guns enjoying a breakfast of bananas and beer...
Another Dallas-based blogger,Bona Fide Darling does a swell job of highlighting a mix of national and Dallas-area talent. When reading BFD, I am often reminded of various North Texas acts that I have said to myself at some point, “Man, I really dig them, I need to post something about them soon…“, and then forget to for whatever reason.

Bosque Brown wonders why there are so many shadows around her if she is all alone...
Two recent, shining examples are 100 Damned Guns and Bosque Brown. Both lean on the Country side of the spectrum (generally speaking) and both acts are clearly destined for greatness beyond the Metroplex. I wont go on too much about the bands, as I think the blog posts I am sending you to do an admirable job on getting you caught up on the reason you should catch up with them. For news and audio from both of these blog-worthy darlings, go here for 100 Damned Guns and then here for Bosque Brown.
