Thanks dawg, its funny that you mention the “mixed affair”, cuz i’ll be darned if it didnt take me a couple of listens to really feel like i “got it”. I had been listening to a ton of indie-rock and more obscur “alt” stuff, and that just didnt mix with that stuff. After I came back to it, i connected with it better…

Great writeup on the Owen Temple record. To me it was a mixed affair. I thought a few of the tracks were fantastic and others were just okay, but I did enjoy the overall album. On a related note, he has a couple of new tunes on his MySpace that he’s planning to put on an EP sometime this month.
