Thanks goodness for web-surfing at work! I have stumbled upon posts from 2 different blogs that introduce new tracks from 2 of my favorite artists:
- DC-9 at Night let’s us know about Doug Burr’s recent project and how he wants to share the fruits of that ambitious undertaking. Burr is also nominated for some Dallas Observer Music Awards, so please, while you are reading up on this, register and vote for him!!
- Nine Bullets is previewing some new Chris Knight tracks from his upcoming CD, Heart of Stone. In my opinion, I have always been able to count on 3 things: Death, Taxes and Chris Knight making an excellent CD. Judging from this preview, that is still the case.

while I can count on death and definitely an epic chris knight cd, I am unfamiliar with the second term, taxes, you mentioned. are they a group? i’ll give their cd a try if you say so. I cant wait to hear the new knight stuff and maybe see his angry beard around here soon.
