Darryl Lee Rush Rocks!

It isn’t a surprise to many folks around DFW, Texas and even the country for that matter, that Darryl Lee Rush is a fantastic performer.  As the original Shiner Rising Star, he has cut 2 albums, including his latest, the awesome, Live from The River Road Ice-House.  On that CD, Rush obviously plays many of his own tunes, which are worthy of note, but it is his cover of Steve Earle’s “Johnny Come Lately” (video below) that seems to catch my ear every time I pop the CD on, which is quite often as of recent.

DLR is playing this weekend in Dallas at the “T-Shirts & Boxers Jam” benefitting the Legacy Boxer Rescue at Sons of Hermann Hall, so he is a great artist AND loves dogs, so there ya go!!
