It has been a while since I discussed TV commercials. With Tivo, I often times miss ones that I want to miss anyways, but there are many times where I miss ones that I wish I would see everytime they come on, cuz they are downright hilarious.
Add a new series of ads to the list of spots that are genius. These DirectTV ads (above) take the same theme and approach that the excellent TV show, The Office, does. The commercials are funny, they can’t help it as they feature many of the stars from the great “mock-umentaries” like Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind, but they also really do shine a light on what goes on in a ton of boardrooms. The truth is, the ads only exaggerate things a little, not a lot, unfortunately. Enjoy….

Sorry this is off the subject….but have you seen the lineup for Summerfest in Milwaukee? It’s ridiculous…11 days!! This is more quality then I’ve seen in South Florida in 15 years.
I havent yet. I LOVE Summerfest and went several years ago. I didnt take near the advantage that i shouldve. it was back in 97, and i was a young dope that only watched dave matthews, bush, collective soul, barenaked ladies, 7 mary three etc…i did catch lyle lovett though…i stress it was a long time ago!!
