ACL Festival Line-up!!!
15 April 2008 in blah blah blahEvery year the day that the ACL Fest line-up is announced is like Christmas morning for me. This year, Santa brought a really great present. Highlights for me are Foo Fighters, Drive by Truckers, Neko Case, John Fogerty, Robert Plant w/ Allison Krauss, Sunny Sweeney, Iron & Wine, Kevin Fowler, Jakob Dylan, Ryan Bingham, Shooter Jennings, and to round it all off, two bands that I have babbled about a lot recently; Band of Horses and The Swell Season (the guy and girl from Once the movie).
Tickets will likely go fast, so gobble ‘em up quick! (get it..I said “gobble” and this is on the gobblers knob??…get it??…no??…ok.)

[...] The Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup has been announced and there’s a few acts even country fans can enjoy. Click on the artists’ names to hear music samples. Pretty cool stuff. (via The Gobblers Knob) [...]
Ah yes, great line up this year! I’ve come in for all but the first and last year’s ACL Fest, and it’s been worth every penny! They sure know how to put on a festival in Austin. I’ve been to a few, and this one is always my favorite! Hope to make it in this year

I’m with you. I have hit the first, third, fifth, and i have my tix for this the 7th year of the fest. its cool, cuz the organizers clearly take the failures and lessons from each year and look to improve for the next year. you cant imagine the lines and transportation issues from that first year, it was insane, but after dealing with that, we walked in and i enjoyed a back to back to back bill of Los Lobos, Wilco and String Cheese Incident and realized that the lines were worth every minute!
man Band of Horses made it pretty dang high up the list…nice
yeah, they should be up there! the are the perfect kind of band for the acl fest. I cant wait!!! I already have my 3 day pass!!!
