Update on my next ex-wife

I haven’t babbled about Kathleen Edwards in a while (if 5 minutes is a while).  Big news in the area of Kathleen-type information.  She will be making a few concert stops in God’s Country (Texas, in case you weren’t sure), including a stop in Dallas for an acoustic gig at a Yoga Studio (don’t judge, it has gotten rave reviews for being a top-notch “listening room” for acoustical kinda gigs) on January 5th.  For those of you in Austin, this little minx will be plying her craft at the Continental Club on January 1, providing you Austinites with a real option for ringin’ in the New Year.  Also, in advance of her upcoming album release in March, she has been previewing new tracks on her myspace page.  “The Cheapest Key” seems as though it will be the lead single, as it has been on her page consistently over the last week without being taken off, like the others that have been previewed.  “Key” is a classic Kathleen rocker featuring an uptempo beat with equal parts defiant ‘tude thrown in for good measure. More tidbits as they come, you can trust me…to get a restraining order served against me….kidding….sort of…not really….
