Poor Girl, She Really Thinks She Has a Chance with Me!
My wife and I have been blissfully married for a year and a half (almost) and she knows that there isn’t anything or anyone that could ever come between us….or is there? My wife accepted my proposal of marriage knowing that I have a slight stalkerish tendency towards a certain Kathleen Edwards, the Roots-Rock Goddess from Canada. I think when my bride first heard me discuss Kathleen’s music or play it for her, she felt that my feelings were harmless enough. That soon changed however. At last years ACL Festival, my woman realized that indeed, she had met her competition. I almost felt bad for my wife, how cruel was it for me to ask her to take a picture of her husband arm in arm with the woman that is so clearly and unmercifully attempting to steal her man away in front of her very own disposable camera lens? Well, I am glad to say that I was able to resist the temptation that Miss Edwards threw my way. This week comes word that Kathleen will again be coming after me as she has cleverly disguised her intentions inside of a “tour” to support a new “album” that she will be releasing. Wow, she will not give up. I hope she knows that my wife/baby momma is determined to fight for her man, and I’ll be there with the camera when it goes down, trust me….
