Bands o’ plenty

This weekend is a big concert weekend in ol’ Tejas.  The ACL Festival brings in 130 bands to the Lone Star State every year on this same weekend.  What’s great about this scenario is that the multitude of bands try and fit in to various venues over the 4 or 5 days that surround the festival.  It would be insane for me to try and list all the great shows in the hamlets that surround the state.  Instead, I’ll give you a glimpse of what I am talking about.  In the DFW area, we have:

9/14:  Raul Malo (Billy Bob’s) & Wilco (Palladium)

9/15: Lucinda Williams (Longhorn Ballroom)    

Tons of other bands (Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Common, the Killers, Railroad Earth, etc…) will be kickin’ it live here as well.
