The Gobblers Knob

I have come on here recently and blabbed on about the talent line-up at this place, this place and this place.  Well, woman (sorry, I know you told me to stop calling you that), I am going to blab about the upcoming line-up of oh-so live and oh-so local (and some oh-so not local too) talent at Hat Tricks in Lewsiville.  It’s over by my old apartment (exactly, that one, I can’t believe you remembered!).  Tonight (Wed.) has none other than Jackson Taylor and Bleu Edmunson, perhaps he’ll bring his flask of Crown.  Recent nights have seen Ed Burleson with his band playing and future nights have Billy Joe Shaver, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and my newest hero.  This is a great place and has hosted many shows over many years.  It wasn’t so long ago that Randy Rogers was playing acoustic gigs there on Sunday nights.  I will say that it’s funny to have a sports bar in this area named after a feat that is accomplished in Hockey and Soccer, considering that these are practically fringe, 3rd world country sports compared to the sports we love the most here, Cowboys Football and Credit Card debt.
